If Iceland's land and sea and sky could speak, Ég anda is what they'd sing. This video was edited by Shane Alcock with extra footage from another production in Iceland in July 2012. The footage was shot while I was leading a National Geographic Student Expedition teaching my students filmmaking. Among many other videos they produced, their final projects were also music videos for this contest.

My intention with this video was simply to attempt to do justice to what are universally majestic and otherworldly landscapes that so beautifully match the music of Sigur Rós and explain the music.
